While I concur wholeheartedly that Mela is far more than 200 year old linoleum, having seen the place, I have to salute these recent efforts at reform.

I also have to salute that she’s back to the blog. Finally. Yay.

And I don’t think it’s a coincidence that these two things are happening together.

So, where do each of us fit in Mela’s circus? I see myself as the Magician in the long black coat with the sulky mysterious Neko as my able and willing assistant.

We’ve got lots of room for clowns, lion tamers, man/woman on the flying trapeeze, elephant riders, etc.

Anyone else have some good ideas?

I can’t speak for anybody else, but I feel like a couple of blue balls bouncing on the nose of a seal: Mela’s a blog teaser. What’s going on besides the old kitchen, Sweetheart? I don’t want to pry, though. Nobody’s more private than me, so I understand the need to be off the grid. I’m so private, even my parents don’t know my middle name.

But I do wonder if you went offline because you found a good, sweet relationship that felt too special to put out on the ‘net. I know only love or an apartment inspection would make me clean my kitchen. Or maybe I’m just projecting because the obvious answer is the one I like least, that you were just recovering from a hard year. Whatever the case, we love you and miss you.

Hey man- I’m not so much into the circus for the mistreatment of some animals but I do love me some freaks!

Has anyone or Mela heard of Criss Angel the MindFreak?? Ok, if you have, consider him and what he does and then think about sex with him. Could he make it all bonkers mindblowing each and every time with some mental action?? I think he could. I keep thinking about that over and over… and then again.

So, sign me up for the freaky tent.

just too hot to blog. humid days and nights. I can stand the days, but humid nights are the pits–no pun intended.
laying low, lots of margaritas and a few tom collins to hold me over. still, hot weather means less confining clothes, so freedom can ring.
maybe we should all join Amelia Kaos on her trapeze. Neko, interested?

i l-o-v-e summer: hot & humid; days and nights. it doesnt get any better than this. after trudging through 9 mos of shivering & sniveling, i finally get the chance to wear cute girly clothes & fun strappy sandles.

yay!

so, sign me up: doc, i’ll take you up on that trapeeze, & a margarita on the rocks (with salt) …

I have decided, after much deliberation, that the answer to all of humankind’s problems is beach volleyball. We just send beach volleyball players into any conflict. Soldiers will just stop fighting and watch the games.

Just think, me and Neko in the bleachers watching beach volleyball with a cooler of margaritas (wth salt) at our elbows. Life just doesn’t get any better! Neko can ever wear her cute girly summer clothes with the fun strappy sandals.

I could just imagaine November and John (formerly Stuck in Kuwait) sitting in the row behind us with several cold beers at hand, watching Mela, Haircutter and friends out on the court. Maybe Amelia Kaos could even place Baby Kaos under an umbrella for a few minutes–I can watch Baby and also hoist a few cold ones at the same time. Love those beach volleyball swimsuits!!

It’s starting to get cold at night. Might have to find a few beach volleyball maidens to warm up my bed. Any volunteers??
